When is the park open?
Mission Creek Park is open from sunrise to 10 pm daily.
What public transportation goes to the park?
MUNI metro N-Judah, T-Line and bus lines 15, 30, and 45 have stops in the vicinity of Mission Creek Park. Individuals
wishing to reach the north side of Mission Creek Park should exit MUNI at the Caltrain Station and walk south
on 4th Street to the 4th Street Bridge. By crossing south over the bridge, you will reach the south side
entrance of the park.
Caltrain is also an option for getting to the park. Exit the Caltrain Station at 4th and King Streets and
follow the directions for MUNI riders noted above.
May I bring my pet to the park?
Pets are welcome; however they must be on a leash at all times.
Are there restroom facilities available?
Public restrooms are available from 8 am to 6 pm at the Pavilion Building located at 301 Channel Street.
May I barbeque at the park?
The use of barbeques or any other open flame device is not allowed at the park.
Is the consumption of alcohol allowed at the park?
Consumption of alcohol is not allowed without an event permit. Please contact Mission Bay Park Management for
permit information: 415-558-9063.
Are there picnic tables available at the park?
There are no picnic tables, however, in addition to substantial lawn areas, there are park benches and concrete
platform seating available.
Is camping allowed in the park?
Camping is not allowed in the park.
Is parking available at the park?
Non-metered one hour parking is available on Channel Street. Metered parking and non-metered one hour parking
is available on Berry Street. Parking is also available for longer periods of time at parking lot A located
south of AT&T Park between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Drive. Parking for permitted events can be reserved
through the San Francisco Police Department.
What is the number to the lost and found department?

May I host a party at the park?
Small family gatherings and picnics that do not involve alcohol, amplified sound or the posting of signs are
welcome at Mission Creek Park without a permit. Large gatherings, such as family reunions and company parties
will require the issuance of a permit. Please contact Mission Bay Park Management at: 415-558-9063 for
details on permit requirements.
Is the Pavilion Building available for rental?
The Pavilion Building interior and exterior is available for rental to host company retreats, receptions,
parties and photo shoots. Please contact Mission Bay Park Management at:
415-558-9063 for a permit application.
Is swimming allowed in Mission Creek?
Access to Mission Creek from the shoreline of Mission Creek Park for the purpose of swimming is not allowed.
May I launch my boat or kayak from the shore of the park?
Boat and kayak launching from the shore of Mission Creek Park is currently not allowed. Future plans for the
park involve the installation of a dock to launch kayaks.

Who is MJM Management Group?
MJM Management Group is a property management company that specializes in the management of public spaces in
San Francisco. MJM Management Group is contracted by the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency to manage the
Mission Bay Park System. In addition to Mission Bay, MJM is responsible for managing Yerba Buena Gardens,
Union Square, the Sixth Street Business Corridor and portions of the Fillmore Jazz District.
